ROLE — Project Management, Construction Management, Contract Management

  • Develop & construct a mixed-use high density residential and commercial asset for a long-standing client, in a busy neighbourhood and within a tight, challenging site.

  • We provided project management services to establish clear deliverables and the project delivery roadmap for the project team, and executed it to completion, within the financial and programmed targets.We also had a construction management scope for several client direct sourced elements which enabled the client to achieve an accelerated programme and overall reduced project costs.

HERITAGE ASSET PRESERVATION & REPURPOSING

ROLE — Project Management, Engineer to Contract

  • Projectus were tasked to devise and implement a plan to completely upgrade this heritage asset for the client to turn it into a highly performing cashflow asset, whilst developing a strategy to ease the capital burden on the owner.

  • We determined and executed value increase through re-purposing and varying the building use through a mix of retail and residential use.We identified and leveraged the existing high-value building features to retain the heritage character and associated cost benefits.The delivery was planned in stages to facilitate tenant capture and leverage it for funding.

DISTRESSED PROJECT RECOVERY

ROLE — Project Management, Recovery Strategy & Implementation

  • Remobilise a project to ensure it realises it’s financial and strategic objectives for the client.

  • Analysis of critical success factors and implemented a project re-set, including design improvements and value engineering, robust procurement and tightly controlled project delivery.

RESIDENTIAL – 42 LOT SUBDIVISION

ROLE — Development Management, Project Management

  • Coordinate and deliver a residential subdivision development of 42 homes, consisting of 18 two bedroom, 16 three bedroom, 8 four bedroom and a shared green space.

  • Projectus assessed the development programme feasibility and implemented a delivery plan with the whole project team resulting in project programme acceleration and timely completion within the development budget.  Energy efficient homes delivered under the Homestar 6 Standard.Community engagement was key for a development of this size and following ongoing consultation with local iwi and neighbouring properties, the development was welcomed. The reduced time onsite was beneficial for the neighbours with little complaints during the construction phase.

FREIGHT DISTRIBUTION CENTRE

INDUSTRIAL FACILITY – HIGH IMPACT VALUE ENGINEERING

ROLE — Project Management, Construction Management

  • Complete a total refurbishment and seismic upgrade works programme in one of the largest warehouse freight distribution centres in New Zealand. The property incorporates Head Officeoperations along with transport, courier and logistics, serving their network and customers nation-wide.‍

  • Responsible for overall project delivery plan and execution.A notable outcome is a 65% cost saving in the seismic works programme through value engineering and construction methodology strategy.
